/>Cyanuurzuur, ook wel zwembadstabilisator of zwembadconditioner genoemd, vermindert de effecten van UV-stralen op het chloor. Het is cruciaal omdat het voorkomt dat u voortdurend meer chloor aan het zwembad moet toevoegen.
De enige zwembaden die niet zoveel cyanuurzuur nodig hebben zijn binnenbaden, omdat die niet worden blootgesteld aan direct zonlicht.
De eenvoudigste manier om stabilisator aan uw zwembad toe te voegen
Cyanuurzuur zwembad stabilisator kan worden gevonden in vloeibare of korrelvorm. Het is vaak al handig gemengd met chloorkorrels. In iopool gestabiliseerde chloortabletten zit het bijvoorbeeld.
Dit is de eenvoudigste manier om uw zwembad te behandelen.
Hoe vaak moet u cyanuurzuur toevoegen?
Over het algemeen hoeft u alleen stabilisator toe te voegen wanneer u uw zwembad aan het begin van het seizoen opent. Het goede nieuws is dat als u het eenmaal hebt toegevoegd, het in het zwembad blijft, tenzij het wordt verdund (als u een waterverversing uitvoert of als de regen het waterniveau in het zwembad heeft verhoogd, zal uw CYA-concentratie dalen).
Als u gestabiliseerde chloortabletten gebruikt, zult u voldoende CYA in uw zwembad hebben, tenzij er een grote waterverversing plaatsvindt. Het zal niet nodig zijn zuivere stabilisator toe te voegen.
Het in evenwicht brengen van CYA en chloor kan moeilijk zijn. Het vereist constante controle en testen.
Pas op voor over-stabilisatie
Stabilisatie van het water voorkomt dat het chloor direct wordt afgebroken door blootstelling aan UV, maar pas op: te veel stabilisator remt de desinfecterende kracht van chloor. Over het algemeen wordt aanbevolen de 70 tot 100 ppm niet te overschrijden. Boven de grens van 100 ppm is er geen keuze: u zult moeten verdunnen.
