Wilt u in uw zwembad overstappen van een chloor- op een broombehandeling (of omgekeerd)? Dat kan, maar pas op voor de risico's! Dit is een verandering die u niet zomaar kunt doorvoeren. Ze houdt risico's in voor uw zwembad en uw gezondheid. Het mengen van deze twee producten brengt namelijk chemische risico's met zich mee, voornamelijk door de stabilisator die aanwezig is in gestabiliseerd chloor.
Hoe gaat u over van broom op chloor?
Als u wilt overstappen van een broomsysteem op een chloorsysteem:
Wacht tot het broomniveau minimaal is;
Verander uw brominator in een chlorinator;
Begin uw chloorbehandeling met chloor zonder stabilisator. Schakel vervolgens over op gestabiliseerd chloor wanneer er geen broom of stabilisator meer in uw water zit. Het is namelijk de aanwezigheid van stabilisator die gevaarlijke chemische reacties met het chloor kan veroorzaken.
