Het bewaren van poolproducten mag niet lichtvaardig worden genomen. Als het wordt verwaarloosd, riskeert u bijvoorbeeld uw producten minder effectief te zien. Waar en hoe kunt u uw producten voor zwembadonderhoud opslaan? Hier zijn onze tips!
Waar en hoe u uw reinigingsproducten moet bewaren
Sommige reinigingsproducten vereisen veel zorg, omdat ze explosief of ontvlambaar kunnen zijn als ze in contact komen met zuur of oxidatiemiddelen. Daarom is het raadzaam ze op een droge plaats op te slaan, waar de temperatuur de aanbevolen temperatuur op de bijsluiter bereikt. Kies een koele temperatuur die niet onder nul daalt.
Het is ook beter om de producten in hun originele verpakking te bewaren. Maar als je pakket beschadigd aankomt (het gebeurt…), zul je een andere container moeten vinden. Kies vervolgens een verzegelde verpakking die geen andere chemicaliën van tevoren bevat om een risico op reactie te voorkomen. Meer informatie over incompatibiliteiten vindt u hier.
Wat de opslagtijd betreft, is er een tijdslimiet waarbinnen het product niet langer bruikbaar is omdat het instabiel wordt. In dit geval moeten ze naar een inzamelaar of een chemisch afvalbedrijf worden gebracht.
Veiligheidsmaatregelen
Voor chemicaliën is het belangrijk om uw handen te wassen na elk gebruik of contact met uw handen. Het is ook raadzaam om handschoenen, maskers en een veiligheidsbril te dragen bij het hanteren.
Deze producten vormen een risico op vergiftiging als ze per ongeluk worden ingeslikt, in contact worden gebracht met de ogen, de huid of worden ingeademd. Hoewel deze producten elk verschillende chemische eigenschappen hebben, vormen ze allemaal, in verschillende mate, een gezondheidsrisico. Houd ze buiten het bereik van kinderen en dieren.Bewaar ze indien mogelijk in afgesloten kasten of in hoogte om de toegang te beperken en eventuele ongelukken met huisdieren te voorkomen.
Samengevat
Producten op een droge plaats opslaan waar de temperatuur niet onder 0° daalt en buiten bereik van kinderen en dieren, indien mogelijk in een gesloten kast;
Bewaar ze in de originele verpakking. Als dit niet mogelijk is, kiest u containers die lekvrij zijn en nog geen andere chemicaliën bevatten;
Breng deze producten na afloop van de termijn naar een afvalverzamelaar;
Hanteer reinigingsmiddelen voorzichtig, met een masker, handschoenen en een veiligheidsbril.
