What are the sensors for?

The EcO is equipped with three specialised sensors that continuously measure:

• water temperature,
• pH (potential of hydrogen),
• ORP (oxidation-reduction potential, an indicator of disinfection capacity).

These parameters are at the heart of your water analysis. Over time and with usage conditions, sensors may either lose accuracy or become damaged.

When should you consider replacement sensors?

Here are the most common situations where replacing the sensors may be the right solution:

• Incorrect or inconsistent readings, even after careful sensor calibration
• Physically damaged sensor(s) (impact, handling, persistent limescale build-up)

Certain signs (such as unstable or inconsistent readings) may be linked to various factors (sensor wear, low battery, usage conditions…). What you receive

• EcO replacement sensor kit (pH, ORP, temperature. It includes the outer shell (mold), sensors, top cap, and rubber protection ring.

Compatibility

This kit is exclusively compatible with the EcO V2 probe (screw-cap lid model). It is not compatible with older EcO probes (sealed model). ⚠️ Please note: if you have a salt probe, make sure to select the salt replacement sensor variant when placing your order.

Frequently asked questions

Can I install the sensors myself? Yes, the EcO V2 has been designed to be opened and maintained by the user. A step-by-step video guide is available below. 

My probe is still under warranty. What should I do? If your probe is less than 2 years old, please contact our customer support first. Replacements covered under warranty are handled by iopool, at no cost to you.
