XL Chlorine Disinfection Pack – Pools Over 20 m³
The iopool XL Chlorine Disinfection Pack is designed for chlorine-treated swimming pools over 20 m³. It combines slow-release chlorine for regular disinfection with shock chlorine for occasional treatments when water conditions require a rapid increase in chlorine levels.
With two 5 kg containers, this pack provides 10 kg of complementary chlorine treatments in a single order.
What's included in the XL Disinfection Pack?
The pack contains two products:

Slow Chlorine Tablets 200 g – 5 kg: Slow-dissolving chlorine tablets designed for regular pool water disinfection, helping maintain chlorine levels and limit algae growth.

Shock Chlorine Granules – 5 kg: Fast-dissolving chlorine treatment designed to rapidly increase chlorine levels when additional disinfection is needed, such as during pool start-up, when treating green water or when chlorine levels are too low.
Why combine slow-release and shock chlorine?
These two products serve different but complementary purposes.
Slow-release chlorine supports ongoing pool disinfection by gradually releasing chlorine into the water. Shock chlorine is intended for occasional use when a rapid increase in disinfectant concentration is required.
Having both products in one pack makes it easier to prepare for regular pool maintenance and targeted treatments without purchasing each product separately.
This pack covers chlorine disinfection only. It does not include products for adjusting pH, alkalinity or water hardness.
Dosage and Safety Precautions
Always check your pool's pH and chlorine levels before adding any treatment. The appropriate dosage depends on the water volume, measured parameters and instructions for each product.
Never mix the two chlorine treatments or add them simultaneously to the same skimmer or treatment device.
Use biocidal products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
