Can I use the monitor with pool chemicals that are not from the iopool brand?

Of course. However, for a better experience, we recommend using our iopool pool maintenance chemicals. Why? Because the recommendation engine is built around our products.

What is the lifespan of EcO Start?

EcO Start offers a lifespan of 2 years (up to 3 years depending on usage conditions ).   

The battery can be replaced, which extends the probe's lifespan. 

What is the warranty period for the EcO Start?

The EcO Start probe is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase.

Do I need to pay a subscription?

There is no subscription.

Can I access my data worldwide?

This is possible by purchasing an iopool Bluetooth/Wi-Fi gateway (included in the EcO Connect pack). By default, EcO Start uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to send data to your smartphone, so you need to be close to the pool (approximately 15 m).
