Liquid Mustard Algae Activator – 1 L

Why use a mustard algae treatment activator?

Mustard algae typically appear as yellowish deposits on the floor and walls of a swimming pool.

The Purissimeau Liquid Mustard Algae Activator is a specialized 1 L pool treatment designed to target these algae. It must be used alongside a suitable chlorine treatment. This combination promotes the formation of active bromine in pool water to help combat mustard algae.

When to use it and how much to add

• Corrective treatment: 90 mL of activator per 10 m³ of pool water when mustard algae are present.

• Preventive treatment: 50 mL of activator per 10 m³, applied 2 to 3 times during the pool season.

These quantities refer to the activator only. The required amount of complementary chlorine treatment depends on the disinfectant formulation and must follow the manufacturer's instructions.

How to use the mustard algae activator

1. Check your pool volume and water parameters.

2. Brush the pool floor and walls and clean any potentially contaminated accessories.

3. Apply the activator and chlorine treatment separately, following their respective labels. Never mix concentrated chemicals directly.

4. Maintain appropriate filtration and check water parameters before allowing swimming again.
