Why use ALKA+
ALKA+ (also known as TAC+) helps stabilize the chemical reactions in the water between products (e.g., acid/base balance).
Use it with our app
You can download our app for free on the Apple Store (IOS) or Play Store (Android). Then you can follow the recommendations from our recommendation engine to know when and how to use our chemical products.
How it works
Alkalinity is a measure that indicates the amount of mineral salts present in your pool water. Water alkalinity determines the water's "buffering" power. An ideal level stabilizes the chemical reactions between maintenance products and your pool water. By releasing into the water, our alkalinity booster will increase the water's alkalinity without adding unwanted chemicals.

Advantages
- High ALKA+ concentration;
- Quality/price ratio;
- High-quality ALKA+;
- Treatment efficiency;
- No residue;
- Compatible with all treatments;
- Compatible with all filtration systems.
Usage tips
- Check that the pH is between 7.2 and 7.6;
- Activate your pool's filtration system;
- Dilute the ALKA+ in a bucket of water;
- Disperse the mixture of water and ALKA+ in your pool.
Warning
- Ideal concentration: between 80 and 150 ppm, preferably closer to 150 ppm;
- Gradually add and never exceed 500g of ALKA+ for 10m³ of water at once;
- Note that increasing your alkalinity will also increase your pH. The lower the alkalinity, the faster the pH will decrease when adding acid (pH-);
- Excessively high alkalinity can cause cloudy water and scale deposits.
